As a result of some of the past issues involving the juvenile court in Luzerne gavelCounty a number of resources have been developed to make negotating the juvenile system easier. The Guide to Juvenile Court is a resource that is can be helpful in any county, the Targeted Resouce Directory lists resources for Luzerne County.

Help Line is in the process of entering our resources into the PA 2-1-1 database.  This database will be available to everyone with internet access.  This database is designed to find services not programs and agencies.  You can find agency and program information on the services pages.  The link on the right will take you to the advanced search page for services. On this page you can restrict the search by zip code or by geographic area served.  Some services may cover more than the county they are located in so it is best to search by geographic area.

Help Line maintains an active data listing of over 400 local agencies, as well as over 16,000 additional regional, state and national resources. If you need to know where the nearest AA group is being held or the telephone number for the Turkey Hotline to make sure Thanksgiving dinner is a success, Help Line is there to assist you.

Listed below is a partial list of resources that Help Line made the most referrals to during the year ending June 30, 2013. This is just a small portion of the resources available through Help Line. For more complete information on these or other program, contact Help Line at 570-829-1341 or 1-888-829-1341.
